The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hendricks throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kokin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hendricks is in Kokin's guard.
Hendricks thows a big elbow that misses.
Hendricks wants to control from the top but Kokin keeps moving.
Kokin can't keep his opponent in guard - Hendricks advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hendricks wants to control but Kokin is having none of it.
Hendricks looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kokin doesn't have the hooks in and Hendricks manages to turn into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Hendricks dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kokin lands with a nice body kick.
Kokin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hendricks was well out of range. Poor timing from Kokin.
Hendricks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kokin pinned against the cage. Kokin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hendricks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kokin tries to avoid it but Hendricks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kokin to the ground. Kokin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tirawit Kokin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Hendricks.
Hendricks keeps the fight on the outside.
Kokin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hendricks.
Hendricks shoots for a double leg takedown but Kokin sprawls well. He's pushed Hendricks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hendricks is breathing heavily.
Kokin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kokin. That's going to slow Hendricks down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hendricks takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kokin lands with a thumping leg kick.

Hendricks has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kokin.
A left and a right from Kokin both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Josh Hendricks has been cut.
Hendricks on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kokin. Kokin obviously looking to wear him down.
Tirawit Kokin is winning the standup battle so far.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kokin, as that shot connected.
Kokin cracks Hendricks with a right hand to the side of the head.

Hendricks is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kokin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hendricks is still on wobbly legs! Can Kokin finish him?

Kokin instigates a clinch.
Hendricks seems to have recovered his senses.
Hendricks's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kokin digs a right hand into Hendricks's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hendricks's gas tank.
Kokin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Hendricks is working for takedown but Kokin is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kokin drops Hendricks onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Hendricks is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Kokin lands a big right hand that drops Hendricks! The killer instinct kicks in and Kokin finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Kokin!
