Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fred Dirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean has chosen Eminem - Till I Collapse as his entrance music. Fred Dirk has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Dean!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirk scoring well with a low kick there.
Dirk throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dean on the side of the head.
Dirk tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dean swivels and escapes.
Dirk fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dean is out of range.
Dean looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dean is looking to take a break and control but Dirk is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dean seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Dean thows a huge punch but Dirk dodges it nicely.
Dean escapes and gets back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dean misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dirk gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dean to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dean is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Dirk will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dean stands and throws Dirk's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dirk is not content to let Dean control the position.

Dean wants to control but Dirk is keeping him busy.
Dean creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Dean fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Dirk takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Dirk is looking to reverse the position.
Dean connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dirk some visible discomfort.

Dean advances to full mount.
Dirk takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Dean lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Dirk is rocked!
Dean lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oh Dirk is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The referee warns Dirk that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dirk has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Dean's lack of action.
Dean wants to take a breather but Dirk is having none of it.
Dirk seems to have got his legs back now.

Dean throws and elbow that misses. Dirk uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dean's guard. Nice move by Dirk!
Dean pulls Dirk in to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Dean dominated that round.
That's time! Dirk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dean lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Dirk misses the shot to the body.
Dean has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dirk throws a leg kick but Dean sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Dean lands a two punch combo.
Dirk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dean.
Dean clinches.
Dirk tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dean avoids it.
Dirk has a couple of punches blocked by Dean.
Dean is working for takedown but Dirk is calmly controlling the position for now.
Dean can't get the takedown.
Dean has picked Dirk up - he's going for a ride! Dean dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dean throws a strike aimed at the side of Dirk's head but Dirk avoids it well.

Dirk is working to avoid the ground and pound but Dean connects with a decent elbow.
Dirk parries the strikes from Dean easily there. Dean is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dirk to escape.

Dean can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dirk is looking to escape.
Dirk is bucking up trying to escape but Dean cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Dean tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Dean lands with some strikes.
Dirk is desperately trying to improve his position but Dean has a good base and remains in mount.
BOOM! Dean connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Dean looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Dean loads up with a big shot that hurts Dirk! He's pulled Dean in close but Dean has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Dirk survive? More strikes from Dean and Dirk is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
