Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Vdrobodan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Semki Est (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vdrobodan comes to the cage accompanied by bodryachkom. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Est.
Est shoots in and drives through. Vdrobodan sprawls well.
Vdrobodan keeps the fight on the outside.

Vdrobodan is desperately trying to improve his position but Est has a good base and remains in mount.

so Vdrobodan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Est wants to sweep here but Vdrobodan controlling him for the moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vdrobodan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Est's head.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Est is on top in guard.
Vdrobodan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Est trying to control the position from guard on top but Vdrobodan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Est drops back looking for a leg! Vdrobodan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vdrobodan manages to kick Est off! Est jumps back into Vdrobodan's guard.

Vdrobodan tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Est is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Semki Est has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Est shoots in for a takedown but Vdrobodan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Vdrobodan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Est did well to prevent Vdrobodan getting side control.

Est looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vdrobodan lands a nice short elbow.
Vdrobodan is trying to control the action in half guard but Est is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vdrobodan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Vdrobodan is working for a kimura here but Est manages to reverse the position and he's now in Vdrobodan's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Est gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Vdrobodan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Vdrobodan throws a big right hand that misses.
Vdrobodan is pushing down on Est's leg trying to pass to half guard. Est is fighting to maintain full guard but Vdrobodan has managed to sneak the leg through.

Vdrobodan is working for a submission of some sort.
Vdrobodan prevents Est from standing back up.
Est is trying to control but can't.
Est manages to get to full guard.
Est is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Est is breathing heavily.
Vdrobodan throws a strike but Est rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Vdrobodan controls Est momentarily but Est frees himself.
Est trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Est stands up from Vdrobodan's guard - Est perhaps looking for a knockout.
Est tries to close the distance and clinch but Vdrobodan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vdrobodan misses with a looping right.

Vdrobodan looking to score a takedown here. Est is defending well but Vdrobodan drives through and ends up in Est's guard.

Est is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Vdrobodan frees his head nicely. Oh but Est has switched to an armbar! Vdrobodan is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
