The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gracie falls off balance throwing a combination
and Nicolas counters with a series of strikes. Gracie will be more careful next time no doubt.
Gracie takes a swing at Nicolas's ribcage but misses.
Nicolas moves out of range of the body kick from Gracie.
Nicolas slips a jab from Gracie.
Nicolas fails with the takedown
and Gracie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A cross from Gracie lands.
Nicolas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gracie darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Nicolas is rocked!
Gracie misses with a hook.
Oh Nicolas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gracie dances in with a quick combination. Nicolas is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Gracie snaps Nicolas's head back. Nicolas stumbles backwards against the cage. Gracie steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Nicolas's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Nicolas just didn't come prepared.
