Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blocko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kimaljdi. That did some damage!
Blocko thows a leg kick but Kimaljdi checks it
and Kimaljdi counters with a three punch combo that has Blocko backing up. Blocko nods at Kimaljdi to acknowledge the strikes.
A low kick from Blocko misses
and Kimaljdi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Blocko is looking to chop away at Kimaljdi's legs.
Sir Blocko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blocko thows a leg kick but Kimaljdi checks it
and Kimaljdi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Blocko scoring well with a low kick there.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Blocko decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kimaljdi won't allow Blocko to pass to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kimaljdi is not content to let Blocko control the position.

Kimaljdi avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Blocko.

Blocko throws an elbow but Kimaljdi slips to the side and avoids it well.
Blocko looking to control but instead Kimaljdi has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Blocko seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Kimaljdi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blocko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blocko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blocko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kimaljdi keeps working.

Blocko is stalling here. Kimaljdi is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Blocko seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kimaljdi has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Blocko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kimaljdi is working away from the top position though.

Blocko has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Kimaljdi. Oh but Blocko has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Kimaljdi goes limp - he's gone! Blocko jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
