The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell throws a sloppy head kick
and Kray finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Kray looks to score with a jab to the body but Liddell is just out of range.

Kray throws an overhand right that lands on Liddell's shoulder, as Liddell tries to avoid the shot.
Liddell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kray counters with a stiff right hand.
Liddell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kray counters with a thumping low kick.
Kray misses with a wild body shot.

Kray scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Liddell doesn't seem bothered though.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Liddell counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Kray is looking to clinch but Liddell is avoiding it.
Reggie Kray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kray misses with a left hand

and Liddell counters with a head kick that drops Kray to the mat! Kray scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

and Liddell takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Liddell forces Kray back against the cage and clinches.

Kray has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
