Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bunson Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Barrillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bunson Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Logan Barrillo!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barrillo clinches.
Turner wants to break free but Barrillo has control.
Barrillo tries to pull guard but Turner holds him up against the cage and eventually Barrillo drops back down to his feet.
Turner is trying to break free.
Barrillo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Barrillo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Turner just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bunson Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Logan Barrillo.
Barrillo tries to pull guard but Turner holds him up against the cage and eventually Barrillo drops back down to his feet.
Turner wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Turner wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Turner prevents a takedown attempt there.
Turner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Barrillo.
Turner is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Barrillo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Turner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Barrillo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Turner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Barrillo shoots in but no luck this time.
Turner throws a shot from downtown. Barrillo moves away and avoids it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Turner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Barrillo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Barrillo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Barrillo dodges the punch combination from Turner.

Barrillo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Turner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barrillo on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Barrillo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Turner, who protects the arm well.
Turner manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Barrillo is looking to advance position but Turner won't allow it.
Barrillo uses his free foot to push down on Turner's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Turner.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barrillo is working for a guillotine from mount but Turner frees his head quite easily.
Barrillo looks gassed!
Turner wants to control but Barrillo is having none of it.
Turner keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Barrillo jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Turner manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Turner is trying to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Barrillo working the ground and pound but Turner is defending the strikes.
Turner is trying to control Barrillo's posture but Barrillo avoids it.

Barrillo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barrillo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Turner misses with a straight left.
Barrillo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Donk. Turner catches Barrillo right on the button with a cross.
Turner misses with a two punch combination.
Turner throws a jab when Barrillo was well out of range.
Barrillo staying out of range there.
Bunson Turner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Turner throws a jab but it's blocked by Barrillo.
Turner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barrillo moves away.
Barrillo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Barrillo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Turner swivels and escapes.
Turner is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Barrillo hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bunson Turner!
