The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basiku dodges the punch combination from Ferguson.

Basiku drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ferguson is pushing Basiku's head away, looking to escape. Basiku manages to hold on to the position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ferguson is trying to control the action in half guard but Basiku is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Basiku takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Ferguson! Basiku is backing up but he can't get away as Ferguson lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Basiku and ends the fight. Great knockout.
