The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dwyer has Do up against the cage in a clinch.
Dwyer misses with an elbow over the top.
Dwyer is trying to break free.

Dwyer pulls guard.
Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.
Dwyer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Do throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Do in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Dwyer is pulling down on Do's head to control his posture.
Do trying to control but Dwyer is working from the bottom.
Do tries to free his leg and advance position but Dwyer is retaining full guard.

Do throws a push kick but Dwyer slaps the foot to one side.

Dwyer wants to get up but he can't break Do's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Do wants to stand but Dwyer is controlling the position.

Do looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Do is working an open guard so Dwyer takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Dwyer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dwyer has closed the distance and engaged Do in a clinch.
Do is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dwyer gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Do tries to pull guard but Dwyer holds him up against the cage and eventually Do drops back down to his feet.
Dwyer has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Do avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Do turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Do manages to end up in side control.
Dwyer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Do has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Do tries to move to full mount but Dwyer actually manages to regain half guard.

Dwyer kicks Do off and gets back to his feet.
Dwyer fails to land the takedown.
Do closes the distance and clinches up with Dwyer, looking for a takedown. Do pushes Dwyer against the cage but Dwyer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dwyer throws a nice looking combination but Do bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dwyer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Do breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Do counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Do with a hook.
Dwyer is looking to clinch.
Dwyer wants to clinch but Do slips to the side
and Do cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Do throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dwyer doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Do counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dwyer's guard now.

Dwyer working for a triangle but Do defends it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dwyer wants to sweep here but Do controlling him for the moment.

Do tries to clinch but Dwyer moves out of range.

Dwyer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Do is squirming around, avoiding Dwyer's attempts to control the action.
