Cheema throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Simpson was covering up waiting for the punch and Cheema finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cheema lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Cheema pushes down on Simpson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Cheema has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cheema is nestled in close to Simpson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
