PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erik Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Isotalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Antti Isotalo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isotalo shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
Isotalo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Isotalo's guard.
Jones wants to control from the top but Isotalo keeps moving.
Jones's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Isotalo keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Erik Jones.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is nestled in close to Isotalo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jones wants to control but Isotalo is keeping him busy.

Jones tries for a kimura but Isotalo is defending well.
Jones advances nicely into full mount.
Jones is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Isotalo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee warns Isotalo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Jones! Isotalo is hurt baaadly! Jones is firing away with more strikes - Isotalo is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
