The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norm darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Norm is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johansson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Norm.

Norm is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Norm looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Norm connects with a nice short shot to Johansson's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Norm winds up and cracks Johansson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Norm lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Norm moves into full mount! Johansson won't be happy about that!

It looks like Wayne Johansson has been cut.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Norm cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Norm has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Johansson tries to reverse the position but Norm maintains control.

Norm cracks Johansson with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
