Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Mabie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Spackman!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mabie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Spackman's waist but Spackman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mabie off to one side.
Mabie tries for a takedown but Spackman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mabie looks to score with a jab to the body but Spackman is just out of range.
Nathan Mabie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mabie.

Mabie uses his free foot to push down on Spackman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Spackman.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Spackman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mabie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Spackman has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Spackman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Mabie is looking to take a break and control but Spackman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Nathan Mabie will probably get the nod.
