The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Payne shows good takedown defense.
Payne shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Johnson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Payne thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Johnson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Payne's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Payne's back!

Johnson has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Payne is defending well but eventually Johnson manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Payne has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
