Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burza on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.

Silva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Silva counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Some bone on bone action there as Burza checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Burza takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Burza. That did some damage!

Silva shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Burza feints a jab promting Silva to slip. Burza then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Silva slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Burza's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Burza looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely.
Burza lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Wazz Silva will probably get the nod.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wazz Silva.
Well Silva has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
