Devin the Dude - Hit'em with the Mule (Ratatatat Remix). Maka has chosen Island Music as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Haka Maka enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Quik but Quik pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Maka shoots in but Quik avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Quik misses with a body kick.
Maka shoots for a takedown but Quik saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jamal Quik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haka Maka.

Quik throws a leg kick but Maka sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Quik connects with a leg kick. Maka looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Quik throws a sloppy head kick and Maka moves out of range easily.

and Maka takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Maka throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Maka shoots in but Quik avoids the takedown attempt easily.
No joy there for Maka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Quik stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Maka forces Quik back against the cage and clinches.
Quik presses Maka against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Maka looks gassed!
Quik stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Quik.
Quik pushes Maka back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Quik makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Quik cracks Maka with a nice body shot.
Maka fails to pull the fight into his guard.
