The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punchy throws a leg kick

and Tyson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Punchy's guard now.

Tyson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Punchy wants to get back to his feet but Tyson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Tyson distracts Punchy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jerry Tyson just wasn't active enough.
Punchy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Tyson feints and as Punchy raises his hands in defense, Tyson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tyson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tyson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Tyson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tyson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Punchy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Punchy can't keep his opponent in guard - Tyson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Tyson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tyson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Tyson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Tyson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Tyson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Punchy's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Punchy is in trouble now - Tyson has advanced to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Tyson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tyson showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Tyson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Punchy is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
