Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexi Taiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Jonsie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taiga comes to the cage accompanied by King Ring. Mike Jonsie will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Jonsie.

Taiga is rocked!

Taiga darts in and clinches Jonsie up against the cage.
Oh Taiga is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Taiga breaks the clinch.
Taiga seems to have got his legs back now.

Taiga clinches.
Taiga's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Taiga breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jonsie throws a right hand that Taiga ducks under and follows up with a left that Taiga also avoids with ease.
Jonsie swats away the attempt to clinch by Taiga.

Taiga breaks from the clinch.
Taiga waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Jonsie.
Taiga throws a low kick but Jonsie avoids it.
Jonsie tries to clinch but Taiga moves away

and Taiga counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Taiga.

Taiga breaks the clinch.
Taiga swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Taiga walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jonsie circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jonsie counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Taiga has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mike Jonsie! Mike Jonsie retains his heavyweight title!
