Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yang Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yusin Nakimuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee's entrance music is Japanese National Anthem. A fine choice. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yusin Nakimuri!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Lee decides to return to a standing position.

Nakimuri tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Nakimuri lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Yusin Nakimuri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee shoots for a double leg takedown but Nakimuri sprawls well. He's pushed Lee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nakimuri looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Nakimuri lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively.

Lee wants to pass to mount but Nakimuri is defending the position.

Lee seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Lee stands and steps away. Nakimuri gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nakimuri but Nakimuri pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nakimuri takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Lee slips a jab and a cross from Nakimuri.

That was a close round but I would say that Yang Lee will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lee lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nakimuri is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lee, into his guard.
Lee is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Nakimuri wanted to stand there but Lee had control of the position.

Lee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nakimuri is controlling him.

Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nakimuri's guard.
Lee has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nakimuri is proving hard to escape from.

Lee is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Nakimuri is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Yang Lee just wasn't active enough.

Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Nakimuri is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Lee is staying active.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Lee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lee is looking to advance position but Nakimuri won't allow it.

Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Lee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nakimuri with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Nakimuri is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lee's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lee's back!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Nakimuri gets his way!

A close second round but Yusin Nakimuri will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nakimuri sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nakimuri as he avoids it easily.
