Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Julius Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuya Gono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katsuya Gono told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
No luck for Cooper with that takedown attempt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gono darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gono sizes up Cooper with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Gono connects with a crisp jab.
Gono showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cooper.
A jab lands there for Gono.
Gono looks to land a combination but Cooper avoids it well.
Gono throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gono lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Cooper throws a wild body kick that Gono sees coming a mile off.
Cooper takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Gono lands with a nice combination. Cooper backs away looking to recover.
Gono throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gono throws a good cross that connects.
Gono connects with a right that clearly hurt Cooper. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Gono proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Cooper collapses and taps out under the pressure!
