The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

It looks like Johan Blick has been cut.

Reyes throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Blicks head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Reyes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Blick tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Reyes avoids it.

Reyes lands a right hand that snaps the head of Blick backwards.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Blick.
Reyes lands with a left to the head.
Blick is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Blick tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reyes smiles and moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reyes fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Blick on the side of the head.

Samir Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reyes thuds a left hand into Blick's body.

Reyes lands a big right hand that sends Blick crashing to the mat! Reyes stays standing though and waves Blick back to his feet!

Blick is rocked!
Reyes throws a looping overhand right but Blick ducks down to avoid it.
Oh Blick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reyes misses with a straight left.
Reyes is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Blick had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Reyes throws a hook to the side of Blick's head but Blick sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Blick seems to have got his legs back now.
Reyes lands with an overhand left.

Johan Blick's cut is getting worse.

Reyes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Reyes fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Blick to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Blick looks to clinch but Reyes throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Blick taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
