The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horvat lands with a shot to the body.
Abaddon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Horvat uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Abaddon.
Abaddon lands a leg kick that knocks Horvat off balance momentarily.
Horvat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Abaddon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Abaddon feints and then cracks Horvat's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Horvat down.
Some bone on bone action there as Horvat checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Horvat throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A jab from Abaddon finds it's way through Horvat's defenses.

Horvat throws a front kick aimed at Abaddon's knee but Abaddon avoids it well.

Abaddon misses with a body shot.
Horvat tries to close the distance and clinch but Abaddon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Abaddon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Abaddon connects with an inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Horvat tries to close the distance and clinch up but Abaddon swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Horvat is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Abaddon.
Horvat has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Horvat there as he acknowledges the shot.

Horvat gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Abaddon.
Horvat jabs Abaddon right on the nose. Abaddon blinks but takes it well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Abaddon misses with an uppercut.
Abaddon takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Abaddon connects with an inside leg kick.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Abaddon throws a leg kick but Horvat sees it coming and moves out of range.

Abaddon sends Horvat crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Abaddon is motioning to the referee to let Horvat up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Abaddon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The fighters circling - Horvat throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Abaddon ducks under a wild hook from Horvat.
Horvat steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Abaddon.

and Abaddon counters with a crisp right hand that drops Horvat! Abaddon lets Horvat back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Horvat is rocked!
Horvat is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Abaddon! Horvat is out on his feet! Abaddon rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Horvat is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Horvat is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
