Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hitoshi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jaws theme remix kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dean Robinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson shoots in for a takedown but Masaru shows good takedown defense.
Robinson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Masaru as he avoids it easily.
Hitoshi Masaru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Robinson.
Robinson tries for a takedown but Masaru sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Masaru throws a head kick but Robinson moves out of range.
Robinson shoots in looking for a takedown but Masaru manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Robinson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Masaru lands a head kick. Robinson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Masaru lands with a kick to the temple. Robinson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Robinson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Masaru pinned against the cage. Masaru gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Robinson looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Masaru moves into range and connects with a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Masaru displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Robinson.
Dean Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Masaru keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Masaru lands a big head kick that sends Robinson tumbling to the mat! Masaru takes a step backwards and waves Robinson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hitoshi Masaru is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Robinson closes the distance and clinches up with Masaru, looking for a takedown. Robinson pushes Masaru against the cage but Masaru circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Masaru circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Robinson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Masaru follows Robinson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
