The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howe drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Moonlight displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Howe throws out the jab.

Howe scores with a one two! Moonlight had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Howe is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Moonlight rather than just go for the knockout.

Moonlight looks to land a right hand but Howe moved out of range.

Moonlight takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Moonlight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Howe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moonlight creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Howe's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Howe drops to his knees and Moonlight pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
