Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Li might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Na Boquinha da Garrafa. Fitch has chosen Motörhead - "Orgasmatron" as his entrance music. The key to victory for Hong Li has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Li enables Fitch to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Li manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Li looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Fitch distracts Li with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fitch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Li knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fitch on the ground.

Fitch lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Fitch thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Fitch takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Fitch seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fitch is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The referee warns Li that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
