The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dent misses the shot to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Kolodin throws a leg kick but Dent sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Dent ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kolodin moves away.
Kolodin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dent throws out the jab.

Kolodin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dent looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dent not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kolodin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dent defends it easily.

Dent is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Kolodin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dent can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dent has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
