Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Bantum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensson tries for a takedown but Bantum sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Donk. Bantum catches Svensson right on the button with a cross.
Bantum misses with a double jab.
Bantum tries to bum rush Svensson with a series of wild strikes but Svensson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Svensson takes one on the button.
Bantum on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Svensson. Svensson obviously looking to wear him down.
Bantum rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Svensson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bantum's guard now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Svensson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bantum is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Svensson, into his guard.

Svensson shoots in and drives through. Bantum sprawls well.

Svensson throws a combination. Bantum tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Svensson shoots for a takedown but Bantum saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bantum is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Svensson.

Svensson shoots in but Bantum avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Svensson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bantum tries to avoid it but Svensson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bantum to the ground. Bantum escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bantum throws a hook to the side of Svensson's head but Svensson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bantum misses with an uppercut. Svensson saw that one coming.
Bull Bantum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Svensson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bantum's waist but Bantum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Svensson off to one side.

Bantum stuffs the takedown attempt from Svensson. Svensson gets slowly back to his feet.

Svensson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bantum throws out the jab.
Bantum throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Svensson has closed the distance and engaged Bantum in a clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Bantum misses with a hook from the clinch.
Svensson digs a right hand underneath Bantum's ribcage. Bantum let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Svensson gets control of Bantum's arms and successfully pulls guard. Svensson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bantum wanted to stand there but Svensson had control of the position.

Svensson tries for a takedown but Bantum sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Svensson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bantum's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Svensson tries to stand but Bantum is controlling from the bottom.
Svensson won't allow Bantum to get back to his feet.

Svensson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bantum is trying to defend but Svensson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Svensson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Bantum misses with a right hand

and Svensson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bantum blocking the ground and pound attempt from Svensson.
Svensson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bantum with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
