The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Andersson with that takedown attempt.
Penn throws a leg kick but Andersson moved away.
No luck for Penn with that takedown attempt.
Andersson throws a nice looking combination but Penn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Penn shoots in looking for a takedown. Andersson tries to sprawl out of it but Penn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Andersson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Penn counters with a single leg into guard. Andersson didn't expect that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Penn's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Andersson gets full guard.

Andersson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Penn throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Andersson's body to avoid the submission. Andersson has instead reached around Penn's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Andersson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
