The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

ous Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Guy is looking to improve his position.
Guy regains full guard. Nicely done.
Guy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
ous Gracie wants to get up but he can't break Guy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Guy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
ous Gracie trying to control but Guy is working from the bottom.

Guy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. ous Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. ous Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
ous Gracie is looking to stand up but Guy won't let him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guy controls ous Gracie momentarily but ous Gracie frees himself.
Guy wants to sweep here but ous Gracie controlling him for the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
ous Gracie connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
ous Gracie's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and ous Gracie duly obliges.
Guy ducks under a wild hook from ous Gracie.
