Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Assis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnett comes to the cage accompanied by Alaj volim kad je pomalena. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Assis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Assis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barnett but Barnett pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Assis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Assis looks for a takedown but Barnett sprawls well.

Mirko Barnett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimbo Assis.
Assis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Barnett. Barnett obviously looking to wear him down.
Assis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Barnett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Barnett tries to close the distance and clinch up but Assis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Barnett makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Barnett scores with a head kick.
Barnett drops Assis with a beautiful combination! Assis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Barnett is looking for the KO!
Assis looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Assis stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barnett.
Barnett fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Assis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Barnett bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Crack! A monster head kick from Barnett and Assis falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Barnett!
