Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Gaines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karol Wozniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wozniak comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sobota - Z buta wjezdzam kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chris Gaines has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Gaines. That's going to slow Wozniak down.
A big left from Wozniak misses.
Wozniak gets a clinch.
Gaines lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Wozniak is trying to break free.
Wozniak wants to break the clinch but can't.

Gaines breaks from the clinch.
Wozniak is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gaines.
Wozniak tried to score with a low kick but Gaines checks it.
An inside leg kick from Wozniak misses.
Wozniak drives through and clinches with Gaines against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gaines manages to break the clinch.
Wozniak throws a leg kick
and Gaines counters with a single leg into guard. Wozniak didn't expect that.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Wozniak is looking to stand up but Gaines isn't so interested in that idea.
Gaines missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Gaines throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wozniak works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Gaines is looking to work some ground and pound but Wozniak has wrist control.
Gaines throwing strikes but missing.
Wozniak is looking to stand up but Gaines isn't so interested in that idea.
Gaines postures up in Wozniak's guard and throws a big left but Wozniak blocks it.
Gaines is working Wozniak over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Gaines scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Gaines throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Gaines throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gaines accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gaines postures up in Wozniak's guard and throws a big left but Wozniak blocks it.
Wozniak utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wozniak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gaines stands and steps away. Wozniak gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gaines cracks the inside of Wozniak's front leg.
Gaines throws a head kick that Wozniak semi-blocks.
Wozniak is rocked!
Gaines clobbers Wozniak with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wozniak is still on wobbly legs! Can Gaines finish him?
A chopping leg kick lands by Gaines.
Gaines throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gaines circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Wozniak tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Gaines wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Gaines!
