Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arga Buarga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ziggy Marloney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ziggy Marloney!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marloney misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Marloney staying out of range there.
Marloney thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Buarga if he has to take too many more of those.
Some bone on bone action there as Buarga checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Buarga avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Buarga jabs Marloney right on the nose. Marloney blinks but takes it well.
Good leg kick by Marloney there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A jab from Buarga finds it's way through Marloney's defenses.
It looks like Ziggy Marloney has been cut.
Marloney moves away from the strike by Buarga.
Buarga avoids a kick to the body.
Buarga blocks a head kick by Marloney.
An inside leg kick from Marloney misses.
Buarga lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Buarga scores with a shot to the body.

Buarga throws a jab but it's blocked by Marloney.
Buarga chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Marloney can pounce on him.

Marloney throws a head kick that misses.
A slow jab from Buarga misses its intended target.
Buarga has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Marloney.
Buarga scores with a jab to the jaw.

Marloney lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Marloney is looking to land body kicks.
Buarga avoids a kick to the body.
Marloney throws a leg kick but Buarga sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Marloney thows a body kick. Buarga tries to catch it but that hurt him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marloney slips a jab from Buarga.
Buarga jabs Marloney to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Buarga jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Marloney throws a head kick but Buarga moves out of range.
Buarga's corner calls for a 1-2. Buarga obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Marloney lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Marloney looks gassed!
Marloney connects with a leg kick. Buarga looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Buarga chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Marloney can pounce on him.

Marloney misses with a leg kick.
Marloney gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Buarga gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Marloney is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arga Buarga!
