The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picard closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Picard shoots and misses
and Slayer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Picard is rocked!
Slayer leaves Picard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Picard.
Super Slayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jean Luc Picard.
Picard on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Picard shoots in but no luck this time.
Slayer misses with an uppercut

and Picard counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Slayer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Picard has gone for a leg lock! Slayer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Picard's guard.

Slayer is sitting in close to Picard's body. Picard has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Slayer is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Slayer is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Picard.
