Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wkier Skier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Henrique (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henrique gets a clinch.
Skier gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Henrique.
Skier is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Skier drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Henrique tries to pull guard but Skier holds him up against the cage and eventually Henrique drops back down to his feet.
Skier tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wkier Skier. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Henrique connects with a nasty looking knee right to Skier's face.

It looks like Wkier Skier has been cut.

Henrique jumps guard and drags Skier to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Henrique is looking to stand back up but Skier counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Henrique.
Henrique strikes from the bottom but Skier passes into mount!
Henrique squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Henrique tries to improve his position but Skier has taken his back! Skier has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Henrique tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Skier pushes Henrique away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
