Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sebastien Chevalier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Szyslak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chevalier comes to the cage accompanied by The Final Countdown. Szyslak has chosen Metallica-Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sebastien Chevalier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Szyslak!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szyslak throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sebastien Chevalier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chevalier falls off balance throwing a combination
and Szyslak counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Chevalier's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Chevalier duly obliges.
Szyslak misses with a wild body shot.
Szyslak lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Chevalier throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Szyslak counters with a nice body kick.
Chevalier walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chevalier swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Chevalier takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


Chevalier is rocked!

Szyslak has Chevalier up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Chevalier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chevalier prevents a body shot from Szyslak.
Chevalier seems to have got his legs back now.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Chevalier.
Szyslak throws a punch but it's blocked by Chevalier.
Szyslak lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Szyslak using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Chevalier has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Szyslak tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Szyslak fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Chevalier manages to break the clinch.
Szyslak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Szyslak slips under a jab.
Chevalier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Szyslak with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Chevalier misses with a few strikes there.
Szyslak swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Chevalier swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Szyslak counters with a left to the body.
Chevalier is breathing heavily.
Chevalier misses with a combination
and Szyslak counters with a nice uppercut.
Szyslak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Szyslak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Szyslak lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Szyslak fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chevalier looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Szyslak lands a body shot.
Szyslak lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Szyslak lands a big right hand that sends Chevalier crashing to the mat! Szyslak stays standing though and waves Chevalier back to his feet!
Szyslak is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Chevalier flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Chevalier is out cold! Szyslak holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nick Szyslak!
