The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wiggins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Putin, pushing him back against the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Wiggins.
Putin tries to pull guard but Wiggins won't allow it.
Putin tries to break free but Wiggins pushes him back against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Wiggins.
Wiggins tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Putin avoids it.
Putin working hard to break the clinch.

Wiggins jumps into guard, dragging Putin to the mat.
Putin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wiggins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Putin passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Putin has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Wiggins is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Putin yanks on the arm and Wiggins is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Putin.
