Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tugg Speedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Speedman is keen to just control but Gomez is a slippery customer.
Speedman uses his free foot to push down on Gomez's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gomez.

Gomez has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Speedman has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gomez has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
