The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fredriksson fails in his attempt to clinch.

Nice takedown defense from Fredriksson. No joy for Bowman on that attempt.
Bowman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fredriksson but Fredriksson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lucas Fredriksson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Bowman.

Fredriksson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bowman but Bowman pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bowman lands a nice forearm strike.

Bowman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bowman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bowman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fredriksson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Bowman maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Fredriksson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Bowman has cracked it and Fredriksson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Bowman!
