Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stepp shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Ribeiro counters with a shoot takedown. Stepp fights it but they end up in guard.
Stepp keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Queli Ribeiro hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Stepp shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stepp showed some decent athleticism there.

Stepp is looking for a kimura but Ribeiro is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stepp to get the leverage.
Stepp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
