Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fast Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punch comes to the cage accompanied by Prodigy - Hot Ride . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch misses with the body kick
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Punch does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jackson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Punch uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson.
Jackson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jackson fails to land the takedown.

and Jackson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Punch's knee momentarily.

Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Punch moves away.
Jackson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Punch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fast Punch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Jackson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Jackson feints and then cracks Punch's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Punch down.
Punch rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Punch's knee momentarily.
Jackson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Jackson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Punch kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Shane Jackson.
Jackson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Punch. That did some damage!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fast Punch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Jackson.

and Jackson counters with a thumping low kick.
Punch closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Punch pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Shane Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Good leg kick by Jackson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Punch is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Shane Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
