Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Miller!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Pitbull throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Miller!
Miller moves in looking to clinch but The Pitbull pushes him off.

The Pitbull shoots in and gets a takedown into Miller's guard.
Miller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Miller wants to get back to his feet but The Pitbull is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The Pitbull wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position.

Miller is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Miller looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Miller tries to break the clinch but The Pitbull is controlling the position.
Miller has had enough of the clinch but The Pitbull keeps him there for the moment.
The Pitbull drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The Pitbull breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The Pitbull takes a body punch but keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The Pitbull drives through and clinches with Miller against the cage.
Miller stops a takedown attempt from The Pitbull.
Miller throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

The Pitbull tightens his grip and picks Miller up, before dumping him to the ground. Miller manages to land in guard.

Miller working for submissions but it's allowed The Pitbull to get to half guard.

Miller is staying active underneath The Pitbull, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The Pitbull is looking for a kimura here.

Miller has one foot on The Pitbull's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Miller tries to work over The Pitbull's front leg with a kick but The Pitbull checks it.
Miller throws a combination that misses
and The Pitbull counters with a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller throws a combination. The Pitbull tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The Pitbull gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

The Pitbull closes the distance and clinches.
A shot in the inside from Miller.
Miller wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The Pitbull wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John The Pitbull. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miller gets underhooks to prevent The Pitbull's takedown attempt.
The Pitbull has Miller pressed against the cage, preventing Miller from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Miller manages to break the clinch.
Miller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Pitbull was well out of range. Poor timing from Miller.

The Pitbull misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and The Pitbull counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Marcus Miller has been cut.

The Pitbull clinches.
The Pitbull drops down looking for an ankle pick but Miller pulls his leg out and moves away.
The Pitbull drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Marcus Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Pitbull misses with an uppercut. Miller saw that one coming.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. The Pitbull moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Miller! The Pitbull continues to tee off on Miller, landing with a left and a right! The Pitbull connects with a right hand that leaves Miller sleeping against the cage! What a finish by The Pitbull!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John The Pitbull!
