Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leroy Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Vitaly Smirnoff!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnoff will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vitaly Smirnoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jenkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smirnoff.
Jenkins works Smirnoff's body with a nice hook.
Smirnoff throws a head kick that Jenkins semi-blocks.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Smirnoff lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Smirnoff will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jenkins up against the cage.

Smirnoff continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Jenkins tries to break free but Smirnoff pushes him back against the cage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Smirnoff is pressed up against the cage. Jenkins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Smirnoff down to the mat. Smirnoff avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Smirnoff lands with a kick to the temple. Jenkins shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Smirnoff's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Smirnoff tries to land a knee to the head but Jenkins blocks with his arms.
Jenkins jumps guard but Smirnoff stands there with Jenkins around his waist. Jenkins gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Smirnoff gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vitaly Smirnoff showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Jenkins throws a right hand that Smirnoff ducks under and follows up with a left that Smirnoff also avoids with ease.

Oh Jenkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Smirnoff shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Jenkins is on queer street and Smirnoff is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Vitaly Smirnoff!
