The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dallas connects with a solid leg kick.

Dallas gets a takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Dallas seems content to control.
Dallas stops Fiddel from getting back to his feet.

Dallas is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fiddel defends it well.

Dallas is working for a submission of some sort.
Fiddel wants to get back to his feet.
Fiddel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Still in half guard, Dallas seems content to control.
Dallas thows a huge punch but Fiddel dodges it nicely.

Fiddel is looking for a sweep. Dallas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dallas decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Chuck Fiddel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chuck Fiddel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fiddel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fiddel tries to bum rush Dallas with a series of wild strikes but Dallas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fiddel throws a series of punches but Dallas moves out of range.
Fiddel is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dallas.
Fiddel is breathing heavily.
Dallas thuds his shin into the meat of Fiddel's side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fiddel walks straight into a right hand from Dallas - that's dropped him! Dallas jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Fiddel from any more punishment! Fiddel complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
