The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez throws a series of punches but Bicki avoids them all with ease.

Bicki sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bicki crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rodriguez - the referee stops the clock and Bicki gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rodriguez. Bicki manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Rodriguez moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Rodriguez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bicki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rodriguez throws a head kick that half lands.
Rodriguez moves in looking to clinch but Bicki pushes him off.
