Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marty Ehrhorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Riggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marty Ehrhorn had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marty Ehrhorn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Riggins!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ehrhorn fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Riggins on the side of the head.
Riggins misses with a head kick.
Ehrhorn wants to clinch.
Ehrhorn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ehrhorn's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ehrhorn duly obliges.
Ehrhorn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ehrhorn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Riggins but Riggins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ehrhorn's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ehrhorn duly obliges.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Riggins shoots in looking for a takedown but Ehrhorn manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Riggins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Riggins is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ehrhorn.


It looks like Andy Riggins has been cut.

Ehrhorn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Riggins eats them both and turns towards Ehrhorn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Riggins tries to close the distance and clinch but Ehrhorn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Riggins shoots in and bounces Ehrhorn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Riggins stands up and waves to Ehrhorn to follow him.

Riggins remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Riggins tries for a kimura but Ehrhorn is defending well.
Riggins throws an elbow but Ehrhorn slips to the side and avoids it well.

Riggins is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ehrhorn is surviving well by controlling Riggins's body position as best he can.

Riggins seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Ehrhorn is holding on tight.

Poor strikes thrown by Riggins there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Riggins throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Riggins wants to take his opponent's back but Ehrhorn doesn't allow it.
Ehrhorn bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Riggins scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
You can see the frustration on Ehrhorn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Riggins is trying to get an arm triangle but Ehrhorn is defending well.
Riggins remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Riggins is working for a guillotine from mount but Ehrhorn frees his head quite easily.

Riggins unloads with some shots from mount but Ehrhorn bucks and avoids them well.
Riggins takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Riggins jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ehrhorn manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Riggins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ehrhorn sprawls well initially but Riggins persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Marty Ehrhorn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riggins decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Riggins clinches up with Ehrhorn and pushes him back against the cage.
Andy Riggins is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Riggins pushes off an throws an elbow but Ehrhorn leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Andy Riggins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Riggins winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
