PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Enforcer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Zentsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Enforcer comes to the cage accompanied by Ace of Spades. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zentsov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Paul Enforcer has been cut.
Zentsov lands a nice hook to Enforcer's body. Enforcer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Enforcer swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Zentsov is now in Enforcer's guard. A big mistake from Enforcer there, giving up the dominant position!

Enforcer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zentsov has time to react.

Enforcer throws and elbow that misses. Zentsov uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Enforcer's guard. Nice move by Zentsov!

Zentsov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Zentsov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Zentsov thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Enforcer if he has to take too many more of those.
Zentsov stalks Enforcer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Enforcer's face. Enforcer staggers backwards, shaken.

Enforcer manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Enforcer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zentsov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Enforcer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zentsov pulls his leg out and moves away.
Enforcer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
No joy there for Enforcer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Enforcer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zentsov as he avoids it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Paul Enforcer will probably get the nod.
