PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alasdair MundyJones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Peter Narzoles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MundyJones's entrance music is luv it. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from MundyJones. Narzoles shrugs it off though.
Narzoles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but MundyJones swivels and escapes.
Narzoles tries to clinch up but MundyJones circles away and keeps his distance.

MundyJones closes the distance and pushes Narzoles back into the cage.

Narzoles has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. MundyJones is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Narzoles.

Narzoles is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

MundyJones decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and MundyJones counters with a shoot takedown. Narzoles fights it but they end up in guard.

MundyJones is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

MundyJones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Narzoles tries to roll over but MundyJones keeps him under control.

MundyJones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Narzoles keeps working.

Narzoles is in a horrible position here. MundyJones smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Narzoles is looking to improve his position but MundyJones isn't that keen on the idea.

MundyJones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Narzoles is wriggling around trying to escape.

MundyJones is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! MundyJones extends the arm and Narzoles is forced to tap!
