The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Matterhorn throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Szarafin's head.
Von Matterhorn scores with a spinning back kick!
A head kick from Von Matterhorn lands but Szarafin takes it in his stride.
Szarafin tries to clinch but Von Matterhorn is having none of it.
Szarafin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Von Matterhorn swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Von Matterhorn throws a nice head kick!
Oh Szarafin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Von Matterhorn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lorenzo Von Matterhorn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Szarafin closes the distance and pushes Von Matterhorn back into the cage.
Szarafin seems to have got his legs back now.
Von Matterhorn gets underhooks to prevent Szarafin's takedown attempt.

Von Matterhorn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Von Matterhorn throws a sloppy head kick and Szarafin moves out of range easily.
Von Matterhorn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Von Matterhorn wants it to stay on the feet.

Szarafin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Von Matterhorn's waist but Von Matterhorn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Szarafin off to one side.

Szarafin moves in looking to clinch but Von Matterhorn pushes him off.
Szarafin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Von Matterhorn lands a big head kick that sends Szarafin tumbling to the mat! Von Matterhorn takes a step backwards and waves Szarafin back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Von Matterhorn throws a powerful right kick. Szarafin tried to block low but the kick was high! Szarafin was taken right off of his feet! Von Matterhorn jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
