The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bolliti.
Damian Bolliti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Statham with a hook.
Bolliti will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bolliti takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Statham fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bolliti, pushing him back against the cage.
Bolliti goes for a takedown attempt but Statham pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bolliti dives in and grabs Statham's left leg, looking for a takedown. Statham pushes down on Bolliti's head and hops out.

Bolliti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Statham but Statham pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Statham lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bolliti backwards.

Statham drops Bolliti onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Bolliti is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Statham dips a shoulder and cracks Bolliti with a mighty uppercut! Bolliti falls back against the cage and Statham unloads with a barrage of strikes! Bolliti is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Statham screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
