The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Silva misses with the combination.
Silva throws a leg kick but Henderson sees it coming and moves out of range.
Henderson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Henderson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silva moves out of range of the body kick from Henderson.
Silva tried to score with a low kick but Henderson checks it.
Silva misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Henderson.
Henderson shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Mike Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henderson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Silva lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Henderson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.

Silva lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Silva misses with a low kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Henderson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Henderson wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.
Silva connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Henderson tumbling to the canvas! Silva pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Henderson was done - good stoppage!
